CULINARY EVENTS

Children's food parties and wine and beer tastings are held once a week in the main season as part of the animation program, and outside the main season, we can prepare them for you by prior arrangement.

WINE TASTING

At Menina Restaurant, we want to introduce our guests to the rich world of Slovenian wines. But, like so many things at Menina, this is far more than an ordinary wine tasting – it's a true experience.

While your children enjoy a fun culinary party with our animation team, parents and all adult guests are invited to join Menina's famous wine tasting, personally hosted by the campsite owner, Jure.

Through legends, entertaining stories, and amusing anecdotes, you'll discover a variety of wines from all across Slovenia. Each wine represents a different region, allowing you to taste the diversity of the country. During the tasting, a delicious dinner will also be served.

The wine tasting includes:

• 10 wine samples
• Cheese, bread, and pumpkin seed oil
• One of the following dinner menus:
  • Menu 1: Fish
  • Menu 2: Goulash
  • Menu 3: Mixed meat platter

Price: €50.00 per person
(Minimum 8 participants, maximum 40.)

Please register for the event at the reception, where you will also choose your preferred dinner menu.

BEER TASTING

About a decade ago, the tasting of Slovenian beers would have been green-red and modest, but fortunately, a lot has changed in Slovenia in the field of beer brewing. Of course for the better. Did you know that we grow one of the best hops in the world in the Savinja Valley?

For all adult beer lovers, we have prepared an excellent selection of 8 Slovenian beers, which will be presented to you by the master brewers or boss Jure with the right amount of historical facts, anecdotes, jokes, production procedures, and Slovenian musical hits. The tasting is also accompanied by excellent food.

The price of the tasting with dinner included is €35,00 / person.

CHILDREN'S FUN WITH FOOD

While parents have fun tasting wine, beer, or are elsewhere, our animation team will take care of your little ones. In the main season, the children's food party takes place in parallel with the tastings described above. The children play various games with the animators, sing and dance by the campfire, roast marshmallows or watch cartoons on the big screen. Of course, they also get dinner.

The price of children's entertainment with food is 10,00 € / child.
