Cross-re-tour

The tourism industry, which was experiencing rapid growth, must take note of the need for change in light of the climate crisis, community concerns, and changing consumer preferences to become more resilient and competitive.

Cross-Re-Tour promotes open innovation and allows SMEs to improve their operational performance by integrating digital, green and circular economy practices. 
To meet new needs, demands and challenges, through the European co-funded project Cross-Re-Tour – Breaking silos in the tourism industry: cross-domain open innovation supporting the twin transition for SMEs -, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism industry will have access to and knowledge of digital and green tools and business solutions that are used in other sectors or large tourism corporations. These tools and solutions will also have the possibility to be tested, put into practice, and scaled up.

This Project has received funding from the European Commission’s Single Market programme, via a call for proposals issued and executed under the Cross-Re-Tour project (Grant Agreement No 101121518).
